When you have scheduled a surgical procedure with us, you will receive a detailed estimate and opportunities to ask the medical team questions. On the morning of surgery, an appointment is scheduled for you to have an opportunity to review and approve the estimate and answer any medical questions the medical team may deem relevant. Pre-surgical blood work will be performed and is required to ensure your pet is healthy before the surgery.
Our surgical suite features a Patient Warming System and state-of-the-art anesthetic monitors that measure heart and respiratory rates, oxygen levels, body temperature and electrocardiography (ECG), CO2 and blood pressure. Your pet receives IV fluids to provide support during the procedure. We utilize the same anesthetics as used in surgery for humans providing an extra margin of safety .Our goal is to maintain the highest level of medicine and safety for your pet. Throughout the surgery and recovery period your pet is closely monitored by our experienced team.
